Local students honored at virtual Colorado College convocation
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Two Midcoast students were honored at the Colorado College 2020 Honors Convocation, virtually, May 14. The ceremony celebrates outstanding students, faculty and staff.
Helen Carter, of Camden, received the Patricia J. Buster Research Scholarship and Charles Rhoads 1959 Scholarship at the event.
Zoe Zwecker, of Rockport, received the Crown-Goodman Presidential Scholarship.
Camden residents named to the University of Vermont dean's list
BURLINGTON, Vt.— Malea Russell and Madelyn Bowman, both of Camden, were named to the University of Vermont dean's list. To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Camden resident graduates from Colorado College
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Helen Carter, of Camden, graduated with a bachelor's degree in geology from Colorado College. Carter was one of 524 undergraduates to be celebrated virtually by Colorado College May 31.
Camden resident named to dean's list at Grove City College
GROVE CITY, Pa.. — Trevor Iltis, of Rockport, was named to the dean's list with high distinction for the Spring 2020 semester at Grove City College:
Students eligible for the dean's list have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the dean's list with distinction, a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84, and for the dean's list with high distinction, a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.
Lincolnville resident named to dean's list at Connecticut College
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Julia Lourens Neumann, of Lincolnville, Class of 2020 at Connecticut College, has been named to the dean's list for the 2020 spring semester, achieving Dean's High Honors. Neumann is a Religious Studies major.
Lincolnville resident named to William & Mary dean's list
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Carolin Helmholz, of Lincolnville, has been named to the dean's list at the College of William & Mary for the spring 2020 semester. To achieve dean's list status, a full-time degree-seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.
Lincolnville resident named to dean's list at Endicott College
BEVERLY, Mass. – Trajan Gilson of Lincolnville, has been named to the dean's list at Endicott College for the Spring 2020 semester. Gilson is majoring in Marketing Communication/Advertising and is the son of Kristi Hardy-Gilson and Douglas Gilson. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no letter grade below "C," have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester.
Lincolnville resident graduates with honors from Dickinson College
CARLISLE, Pa. – Luke Burstein, of Lincolnville, graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College in May with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Burstein is a graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School.

WATERVILLE — Daniel Peabody, of Camden, Laticia Billings, of Hope and Aubrey Schaeffer, of Rockport, have been named to the Spring 2020 dean’s list at Thomas College.
Local residents named to dean’s list at he University of Maine at Farmington
FARMINGTON — Eliza Robinson, of Camden; Emma Steere, of Hope; and Carol Upham, of Rockport have been named to the University of Maine at Farmington dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. UMF maintains a Dean’s List each semester for those students completing a minimum of 12 credits in courses producing quality points.
