Mary Louise Littlefield, 87, died at her home Sunday, March 8, 2020. Born in Prospect on Jan. 13, 1933, she was the daughter of Manson and Rose (Larrabee) Littlefield and moved with her family to Camden at the age of nine. Mary was a member of the Class of 1951 at Camden High School and attended Ballard Business School in Rockland for several years.

Mary was employed by Bicknell Manufacturing in Rockland for many years and retired when it closed. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her sister, Winifred, to England, Hawaii and bus tours of the west including Las Vegas, where they enjoyed shows and food. Knitting sweaters was her special hobby and many family members reaped the benefits.

Mary was a longtime volunteer at P.A.W.S. and many cats came to live at her house over the years.

Surviving is her brother, Ernest Littlefield and his wife, Jane, of Lincolnville; nieces and nephews, Adrian and Carol Stanley of West Haven, Conn., Stephen Stanley and his partner, Raymond Brooks, of Londonderry, N.H.; Jerry Littlefield, of Magnolia, Texas, Irene Littlefield, of Ormond Beach, Fla., Andrew Young, of Lincolnville, and Amy Ames, of West Rockport; great nephews, Jonathan Stanley and his wife, Alyssa, of West Haven, Conn., Matthew Stanley and his wife, Marta and great-great-nephew, Adrian Gerard Stanley, of New Haven, Conn. Also, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks for special neighbors, Geoffrey Pittman and Lisa Millimet, who were always there for her. Mary will be especially missed by her cat, Pasha, who has been her devoted companion for 12 years. She was predeceased by a brother, Onel Littlefield and a sister, Winifred Stanley.
