Armed intruders broke into an Appleton home Saturday night, robbing the couple who lived there.

The robbery was reported at about 11:40 p.m. March 7, according to Knox County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Patrick Polky.

Investigators believe this to be a targeted event and likely there is no immediate risk to the general public.
