Idabelle Perry, 87, passed away at her family home in Owls Head Feb. 25, just five days after her husband, Francis, passed.

Born in South Thomaston to parents Wilhelmina and Leroy Wiggin, she is also predeceased by her husband of 68 years; sisters Marjorie Kalloch, Victoria Mason; brother Harold Wiggin and great-grandson Mikey Underhill.

Ida was a well known figure on the Boardwalk in Rockland where she walked (zoomed) daily for several years and always had a cheery “hello” for fellow walkers.

She volunteered for numerous years at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop. She was known for her spectacular flower gardens, that she so enjoyed working on. She especially loved spending time with her great-granddaughter and grandchildren.

She is survived by sister Ava Wiggin Allen; brother Eugene Wiggin; son David Perry; daughters Jeanette Perry and her husband, Danny Hunt, and Sandra and her husband, Frank Fogg; granddaughter Heather Underhill; grandson Kevin Fogg; great-granddaughter Ariana Underhill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at the Coughlin Cemetery in the spring with the immediate family.
