On Saturday, Aug. 10, a new display of artwork will be presented at 13 Friendship St. from 4 to 7 p.m. The theme is “Animals of Every Kind." Participants are encouraged to bring their ready-to-hang art of real or imagined animals to Medomak Arts on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 4 to 5 p.m. Another time could be arranged by using the contact information below.

If you are a budding artist or photographer and need a non-profit gallery to display your work, then Medomak Arts Project has the space. This will offer you a chance to show off your talents, and mingle with your friends, relatives and neighbors in the downtown village location. These depictions by local artists will capture your imagination and challenge your awareness of the artistic nature of animals. So please plan to attend the August Waldoboro ArtWalk with all your family and friends. Light refreshments will be available.

Medomak Arts Project is a nonprofit art and gallery center. Its mission is to foster community and creativity for the Medomak region. Medomak Arts highlights the region’s cultural, creative and historical assets to build both greater awareness and a creative sense of place. The venue is also available for event rental.
