Four area drivers have thrived on the tracks in recent weeks as Travis Benjamin of Morrill, Ryan Ripley of Rockland, Ryan Deane of Winterport and Tyler Robbins of Montville clocked strong finishes in races.

On Saturday, May 4 at Oxford Plains Speedway, Deane motored to a third-place finish and Robbins 14th in the first Super Late Model 50-lap race, while Deane finished third and Robbins ninth in the second SLM 50-lap race of the afternoon. Reid Lanpher of Manchester prevailed in the first race and Curtis Gerry of Waterboro first in the second race.

In the first of two Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy Street Stock 30-lap race, Ripley finished sixth and added a nine-place finish in the second race. Matt Dufault of Turner finished first in race one and Skip Stanley of Oxford first in race two.

Benjamin and Ripley also had strong finishes in their races on Sunday, April 28 at the same venue.

Benjamin, racing in the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model 150-lap race, motored to seventh among 33 drivers. Garrett Hall of Scarborough finished first.

Ripley, racing in the Honey Badger Bar & Grill Street Stock Series 50-lap race, earned 10th among 22 racers. Kenny Harrison of Durham finished first.
