Entomologist Gary Fish will teach how to attract and protect beneficial organisms in the home garden at Merryspring Nature Center, 30 Conway Road, Camden, Tuesday, March 26 at noon.

Fish will show how to grow gardens that attract beneficial organisms (parasites, predators and pollinators) and how to protect them so they can provide the highest level of ecosystem services. A photographer and lifelong lover of insects and plants, Fish has been a Maine state horticulturist for over two years. He served as manager of Pesticide Programs for the Board Pesticide control for over 28 years and has served as a licensed professional forester since 1985.

This lecture is part of the Winter Talk series. Admission to Tuesday Talks is $5, with free admission granted for Merryspring members.
