Appleton Library hosts Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange

Appleton Library, 2916 Sennebec Road, will host a Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange Cafe, Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring a puzzle; take a puzzle. Kindergarten registration open for Camden-Rockport Elementary School

Camden-Rockport Elementary School is now registering students for Kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year. Children must reside in Camden or Rockport and be 5 years old on or before October 15, 2019.  Deadline to register for spring registration is March 29. Soil fertility workshop set for April 3

WALDOBORO — University of Maine Cooperative Extension offers a soil fertility workshop April 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at its Knox-Lincoln office, 377 Manktown Road. The course, which costs $10, covers how to read and utilize soil test results, and the differences in soil amendments, including compost, lime, conventional and organic fertilizers and animal manures. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their most recent soil test results, if available.
