Ashwood Waldorf School, 180 Park St., Rockport, will offer community members an opportunity to visit classes in-session Wednesday, March 20, from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. This behind-the-scenes look at Waldorf education is for all those who are curious about what goes on in a Waldorf classroom. Parents, grandparents, college or high school students, teachers, health care professionals and interested community members are welcome.

Every morning, in more than 1,000 Waldorf schools worldwide, the day begins with an interactive main lesson, where academic subjects are examined through storytelling, movement, experimentation, and the arts. This tour allows visitors see the main lesson in action, as they sit in on three classrooms in session, from early elementary grades through the middle school. After the tour there will be time for questions and conversation with the school director.

The event is free but spaces are limited; advance registration is required. For more information contact or 236.8021.
