Belfast Maskers invites the public to audition for the award-winning musical “The Secret Garden,” with book and lyrics by Marsha Norman; and music by Lucy Simon, based on the beloved Victorian novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

Auditions will be held Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m.; and Monday, March 25, at 6 p.m. at the Basil Burwell Community Theater, 17 Court St. If callbacks are necessary, they will be the following weekend.

Auditioners are encouraged to prepare a short piece to sing, either unaccompanied or with accompaniment provided by the singer. In lieu of such, singers will be asked to sing a simple, well-known song and scales. The stage director’s auditions will consist of cold reading from the script. Casting will be done by Music Director Deb Fournier and Stage Director Erik Perkins.
