The National Library of Health and Healing, 181 Jefferson St., hosts a presentaiton on the prevention and management of diabetes, as well as recent advances in care, March 28 at noon. The program will begin with a talk by Melvin Willimas, a diabetes patient and founder of the group People Helping People, followed by a forum led by Dr. Timothy Howe and his wife, Lynn Howe. An internist practicing in Brunswick for 24 years, Timothy Howe is medical director of wellness and diebetes at Parkview Hospital. He is also medical director of Lifestyle Choices, a program to treat so-called lifestyle diseases. Lynn Howe helps with the latter program, teaching cooking classes.
