The League of Women Voters Maine, ERA Maine and Rockland Public Library invite the public to a screening of “Equal Means Equal” (2016, USA) Tuesday, March 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the library, 80 Union St.

The screening, in honor of Women’s History Month, designated since 1980 to honor Women in American history; and also as a celebration of the women in America, is free and open to the public.

“Equal Means Equal,” directed by Kamala Lopez, is a powerful 90-minute documentary on the status of women’s rights in America, revealing the inadequacies in present laws protecting women and demonstrating the need for a ratified Equal Rights Amendment.
