Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St./Route 131, will host an exhibition titled “Maine Landscape: 2 Views” featuring painters Lisa Kyle and Diane Noble beginning Wednesday, March 6.

Waldoboro resident Kyle, painting in the tradition of the Impressionists, strives to capture the effect of light in the landscape, reaching for an elusive moment of peace and serenity in an otherwise chaotic world. Noble, of Biddeford, is attracted to the wide-open spaces of fields, rivers, coves and marshes of coastal Maine. She travels throughout the area, always open to the discovery of a new vista.

The show will run through April 12. For library hours, call 372-8961 or visit jacksonmemoriallibrary.org.
