The weekly Monday night blues series continues March 11 with the Chris Fitz Band, playing a 7 to 10 p.m. show in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Admission will be $10 at the door, which opens at 6 p.m.

The Boston-based Chris Fitz Band is a hot pot of blues jambalaya, mixing swing, jump, Chicago and Texas blues styles, with a healthy dose of funk, soul, rock ‘n’ roll and a touch of British blues rock. The power trio features Fitz as bandleader, singer/songwriter and guitar player; "Fretless” Dave Kandarian on bass; and Mike Aiello on drums. Since 2002, the Chris Fitz Band has received more than a dozen music awards including the Boston Music and Boston Blues Challenge Winners awards, as well as numerous songwriting and best guitar player awards, while touring the states and Europe.

The weekly Monday series continues March 18 with the Don Brewer Blues Project ($10); March 25, Eliza Neals Band ($15); April 1, TBA; April 8, Dave Keller Band ($15); and April 15, Brandon Santini ($15). There also will be a special Thursday night concert April 11 with Biscuit Miller & The Mix ($15). Shows are subject to change.
