River Arts invites artists to submit up to three works for jurying for the upcoming “Figures, Photos & Forms” show. Charlotte Davenhill of Tidemark Gallery in Waldoboro will jury this exhibition. Deadline is Saturday, March 2, at 4 p.m.

This show will feature the figure in all media, with a special encouragement for photographers and sculptors to apply. All media including painting, drawing, print making, fiber arts photography and sculpture will be accepted for jurying. The show is open to the artists’ interpretations of the figure including abstraction and realistic renderings.

Entry fee, which covers up to three entries, is $25, $15 for members. Works must be suitably wired for hanging and clearly labeled with artist’s name, phone number and title on the back.

Artwork may be dropped off at River Arts, 241 Route 1 just south of N.C. Hunt, during regular gallery hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists will be notified by email or phone of the juror’s decision. Entry forms are available online at riverartsme.org and at the gallery.

Opening reception for “Figures, Photos & Forms” is scheduled for Friday, March 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will run until April 6. For more information, call River Arts at 563-1507.
