At Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., February vacation week is Dino Week, with activities for children daily from Tuesday through Friday. In addition, the library will have it large dinosaur skeleton on display throughout the week.

The library will be closed in observation of Presidents' Day Monday, Feb. 18.

There will be a special dinosaur storytime with two dino crafts Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Kids can join Jon Wallace, a former teacher and fossil enthusiast, as he shares his collections of fossils and the stories behind them Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. On Thursday, Feb. 21, at 3:45 p.m., the library holds a Dino Science session hands-experiments that will help them learn about the Mesozoic Era. Kids are invited to help paint a dinosaur mural to be displayed at the library Friday, Feb. 22, at 10:30 a.m.
