Bay Chamber Concerts’ 2019 Music@Dusk series will open Friday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. in Union Hall, 24 Central St. Music@Dusk is an hour-long performance where concertgoers can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in an intimate setting.

The TONE performance, combining jazz, improvisation and original music, was born from a mutual love of jazz harmony, lilting melody and timeless poetry by vocalist Sarah Elizabeth Charles and pianist Jarrett Cherner. Charles is a rising vocalist/composer based in New York City. She has played at the White House, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, the Bern International Jazz Festival and many more.

Brooklyn-based pianist, composer and bandleader Cherner has captivated listeners with his lyricism, technical facility and consistently evolving musical vision. Originally from San Francisco, he has toured throughout the United States, as well as South America, Canada, Mexico and Europe, as both a leader and sideman.

Tickets for Music@Dusk are $30, $10 for those younger than 25. For more information, call 236-2823 or visit
