For the third year in a row, Knox County Homeless Coalition through the help of individuals and organizations in the community, was able to make wishes come true during the holidays for more than 100 families.

Among those taking part in the "Christmas Miracles" adopt-a-family program was Girl Scout Troop 1160 in Warren. The troop contacted KCHC and received a list of wants and Christmas wishes for a local family. The scouts spent their troop money to provide gifts for each member of the family, according to Operations & Development Coordinator Kim Rand.
