The Camden Garden Club will offer a presentation on container gardens at the Camden Public Library, 55 Main St., Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. The talk is part of the club’s Winter Horticulture Series. Attendees will learn about growing in containers and raised beds for beauty, convenience and accessibility and her talk will cover design, plants, growing mediums, and fertility.

The speaker will be Elizabeth Stanley, who coordinates home and school gardening programs for the University of Maine Extension.  She also works part-time for Lee Schneller Fine Gardens, and in that capacity has participated in three crew trips to Japan.  She lives with her husband in Warren, where they grow trees, flowers & vegetables on the shores of Crawford Pond.
