Swimmers will gather at Camden Harbor on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. to take the Winterfest Polar Plunge 2019. This year the plunge will benefit SunDog Outdoor Expeditions, a local non-profit educational organization dedicated to getting middle school kids outside after-school, learning outdoor skills and building confidence and resiliency. There is a $25 minimum pledge to plunge. For more information and to register, visit sundogoe.com. Participants must print out the sponsor sheet at the bottom of the registration page.

Camden Winterfest happens downtown, at the Library, and at Camden Snow Bowl. It’s a week-long celebration of winter with outdoor and indoor activities, beginning with ice carving and culminating with the Toboggan Nationals.
