The National Library on Health and Healing, 181 Jefferson St., will present a forum titled "Frontiers in Regenerative: Stem Cell Therapies" with speaker Joseph Krieger Feb. 6 at noon. Lunch will be included in the free presentation.

Krieger is founder and president of Boston BioLife and has presented workshops to physicians and scientists across the world to educate them about novel advances in regenerative medicine. That is the branch of medicine that develops methods to regrow, repair or replace damaged or diseased cells, organs or tissues. It also includes the generation and use of therapeutic stem cells, tissue engineering and the production of artificial organs.

He has a bachelor's degree is biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts and a master's in the same field from Boston University Medical School.
