The Salvation Army says in a Dec 19 press release that donations to its annual Kettle Drive are slow this year, with only six days to go before Christmas Eve. The organization hopes to reach its campagin goal of $787,748 for the state of Maine, but some Maine locations are behind in their goals, including Rockland, which is is behind by $3,792. In addition to donating at Salvation Army Kettles, people may donate online at fundraiseforgood.org or in person at any Salvation Army office.
