“Season Finale 2018” reopens Saturday, Dec. 15, to run to Christmas at the downtown Camden Falls Gallery, 5 Public Landing.

“After running a year-round business in Camden since 1981, I have decided to close the gallery for the winter,” said Howard Gallagher.

Camden Falls will close the last week of December to mid-May, but will continue to work online through the website “and Sandy maybe able to open for appointments,” Gallagher said.

Given the extended closure, the gallery will be returning a large body of artwork to its artists. But images of the returned paintings will still be available to enabler purchase, marked with parentheses on camdenfallsgallery.com. Work that remains is discounted from 10 to 30-plus percent.

“We'll be forfeiting a percentage of gallery commission on some of the works to benefit the artists and purchaser,” Gallagher said.

Howard and Margaret Gallagher expressed thanks to all who have “provided us with the ability to make this possible: our artists for their great artwork; and those of you who have stopped in to visit the gallery, taken the time to admire the artwork and had the time to chat.”

The gallery will be open daily Dec. 15 through 24. For more information, call 470-7027 or email camdenfallsgallery@gmail.com.
