Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., will host an evening of making handmade gifts in the Community Room Monday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. The program is for adults and teenagers, free with supplies and guidance provided.

There will be four tables, each with different crafts to create. With Carney Doucette, crafters can make marbleized paper. Patty King will help participants create items from corks including magnets and key chains. Mary Jane Martin will show people how to make a variety of fun bookmarks. And Peter Proeller will advise crafters in making decorative hanging moons and stars.

Attendees are invited to bring a friend or two and a willingness to learn. For more information, call 594-0310.
