The public is invited to turn a bored night into a board game night at the Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., Thursday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

The library has a collection of board games, puzzles and playing cards, including Bananagrams, Cribbage, Scrabble and Apples to Apples, and participants are also welcome to bring a favorite game. The library will provide drinks and popcorn. Game night is for people of all ages. Library policy states that children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
