Maine Family Planning and the Rockland Public Library present the "Be Happy, Be Healthy: Health & Wellness Information Fair" Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the library, 80 Union St.

The fair is aimed at bringing health care providers, community support organizations, and the public together for camaraderie and conversation about health and wellness. A variety of local providers will present information and support on how to balance physical, reproductive, mental and social well-being amidst a busy schedule. There will also be free snacks and beverages, games, prizes — including gift certificates to local businesses, free giveaways and crafts.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be a panel discussion and question-and-answer session with local providers from Maine Family Planning, Knox County Health Clinic, New Hope for Women and Home Counselors Inc.

Participating agencies include: Maine Family Planning, Knox Clinic, New Hope for Women, Home Counselors Inc., the Penobscot Bay YMCA’s Knox County Community Health Coalition, Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition, Sexual Assault Support Services of Mid-Coast Maine and WIC.
