Medomak Valley wrestlers have enjoyed a successful season thus far, and the Panthers tried to wrangle two more high school mat wins on Wednesday night, Jan. 24 in a midweek tri-meet at Nokomis.

Medomak Valley beat Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield 54-30, but was doubled-up by the host Warriors 42-21, to finish 1-1 on the night.

The individual Medomak Valley results, with Panthers listed first, were:

106 pounds — Josh MacDougall won by forfeit over MCI.

Marshall Sawyer beat Calvin Peck, Nok, 10-8.

113 pounds — Marshall Sawyer was pinned by Tyler Baker, MCI, at 1:50.

Gavin Readinger won by forfeit over Nokomis.

120 pounds — Gavin Readinger won by forfeit over MCI.

126 pounds — Colby Hyde won by forfeit over MCI; and was pinned by Tyler Preble, Nok, at 0:16.

132 pounds — Damien Henry was pinned by ZyAnthony Moss, MCI, at 0:20; and was pinned by Josh Brown, Nok, at 0:20.

138 pounds — Emily Harris was pinned by Madeline Tardiff, Nok, at 4:45.

152 pounds — Eli Miller won by forfeit over MCI and Nokomis.

160 pounds — Nolan Grubb won by forfeit over MCI; and was pinned by Quinton Richards, Nok, at 0:35.

170 pounds — Tyler Cox was pinned by Voitech Filipi, MCI, at 3:06; and was pinned by David Wilson, Nok, at 5:16.

182 pounds — Elijah Lash lost to Alex Glidden, Nok, 7-0.
