Year after year, winter after winter, when it comes to the high school wrestling success, Camden Hills and Belfast always are in the mix for league, regional and state championships, whether in Class A or B.

So, it was no surprise that a midweek, early-season dual-match between the host Windjammers and visiting Lions ultimately would be decided by a few points.

The battle saw plenty of fast-paced mat action between the opponents, as the Windjammers dominated and built an early, seemingly comfortable lead (36-9) before the Lions roared back to make it close at the end.

When the final buzzer sounded to end the match, the hosts had survived with a 42-39 victory.
