The Camden Hills boys basketball team defended its home gymnasium in a preseason game on Tuesday, Dec. 5 with an 82-58 victory over Belfast.

The Windjammers took a 19-13 lead after the first quarter and continued to extend their advantage as the contest wore on, as they took a 47-27 advantage at halftime and 66-42 lead after three quarters.

Daniel Peabody scored 23 points in the win for Camden Hills, while Noah Heidorn added 18; Ionut Lodge, 13; Ethan Ford, five; Michael McGeady and Jesse Fraser, four; Mike Kremlin, three; and Obie Miller, Trajan Gilson and Jeremy Fraser, two.

Stanley Sturgis scored 17 points for the Lions, while Luke Mills-Lightner added nine; Chris Kelley, eight; Dakota Doolan, six; Skylar Perkins, four; Tyler Bartlett, Aaron Fuller and Dakota Payson, three; Jesse Perry, two; and Jason Bartlett, one.

The Windjammers were 14-of-22 (63 percent) from the foul line, while the Lions were 11-of-20 (55 percent).
