The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has reported the following local incidents:

July 11

Nicholas Sellick, 32, of Thomaston, was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for failure to appear at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Wiscasset by Deputy Chad Gilbert.

A crash occurred on Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Karen J. Boynton, 55, of Belfast, and Terrence W. Nichols, 58, of Waldoboro. Boynton was driving her 2015 Subaru Forester southbound and Nichols was driving his 2001 GMC Yukon northbound, with a load of plywood on the roof of his vehicle. The plywood on Nichols' SUV lifted on the front edge and snapped off. Pieces of the plywood flew into the southbound lane and struck Boynton’s vehicle. Lt. Brendan Kane was the investigating officer.

July 13

A crash occurred on Brown’s Cove Road in Bristol involving Earl E. Leigh, 62, of Washington, and Kevin D. Murphy, 46, of Menands, N.Y. Leigh was backing up his 1988 GMC Genera truck eastbound on Brown’s Cove Road. Murphy’s 2014 Toyota Sienna was parked unattended westbound on the edge of the narrow road. Leigh went off the edge of the eastbound side and when he cut the wheel to get back onto the roadway, he crossed the roadway and struck Murphy’s vehicle. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

July 18

A crash occurred on Medomak Road in Bremen involving Brian S. Reed, 53, of Friendship. Reed was operating his 2008 GMC southbound when he lost control of his vehicle, causing him to go off the roadway and roll over. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

July 19

Vanessa M. Frisbie, 29, of Thomaston, was arrested for operating under the influence (drugs or combination); violating condition of release and endangering the welfare of a child on Route 1 in Newcastle by Deputy Jonathan Colby.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
