The Midcoast Brass Quintet will perform a Music in the Amphitheatre concert Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 6:30 p.m. Camden Amphitheatre is on Atlantic Avenue, adjacent to Camden Public Library.

Members of the ensemble are Peter Stuart of Waldoboro, trumpet; Bruce Cole of (Camden/Rockport, trumpet; Carolyn Kanicki of Rockland, French horn; Megan Kennedy of Rockland, trombone; Doug Kennedy of Rockland, tuba; and substitutes Dustin Hamalainen of Camden, trumpet and Janet Chesebrough Clarey Deschenes of South Thomaston, French horn.

Their repertoire ranges from classical brass quintet to modern classical, pop, jazz and a little rock. The mission of Midcoast Brass Quintet is to perform quality brass quintet music while enjoying the music-making process.

The library’s Summer Movies and Music series is sponsored by Camden National Bank, with additional support provided by Mid-Coast Limo. Admission is free; bring own lawn seating if desired.
