Topsham resident Ron Chase will read from and sign his book “The Great Mars Hill Bank Robbery” Tuesday, July 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Owl & Turtle Bookshop, 33 Bay View St.

Chase’s book is a true story about a Vietnam veteran who takes matters into his own hands and subsequently "goes Robin Hood" after the VA fails to provide a loan. Chase is a former IRS employee, Maine Wilderness Guide and ready to field all sorts of questions about his book.

The event is free and open to public; call 230-7335 to reserve a book.
