Midcoast artist Ronald Frontin will have an Arts in the Barn solo exhibition opening Friday, July 28, with a 5 to 8 p.m. reception in the Cushing Historical Society’s barn at 17 Hathorne Point Road. The show will continue Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

The community is invited to meet the artist and view his work. Frontin is a contemporary Maine painter who continues the American realist tradition of Winslow Homer and Thomas Eakins with his fastidiously rendered figural images set on the coast and in the countryside. His subjects include the hardworking fisherman and farmers of Maine; and his family and friends.
