The Union Fair Talent Show is looking for entries for this year’s competition. All kinds of acts are welcome including singing, juggling, playing a musical instrument, comedy, dancing, bands, etc. All performances must be acceptable for all ages.

Only 25 applications will be accepted, and the deadline for entries is Aug. 12. Applications may be downloaded from or requested by email to

There are two age categories: up to age 16; and age 17 to adult. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in both categories. First place will win $300, second place $100 and third place $50.

Auditions will start Saturday, Aug. 19, at 12:30 p.m., and the 25 applicants will be narrowed to 10 (five in each category) that the second day of auditions will start 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Entertainment Center. The 10 semi-finalists will perform that evening; of those six, will be chosen to perform again that evening.
