Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St./Route 131, will hold its Book Fair & Art Auction/Raffle Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the annual St. George Days celebration.

There will be thousands of books for sale under the tents located in the Jackson Memorial Library parking lot. Attendees can look for a box of vintage LPs, find book bargains in the children’s area and indulge their sweet tooth with a stop at the home-baked goods table.

Many local artists have contributed items to the art auction and art raffle.  Paintings, sculpture, fine furniture, prints and photography are only a few of the art pieces to be found. Artists who have contributed include Carmella Yager, Jennifer Mumford, Darlene Cocke, Joe Holub, Luise van Keuren, Ed & Kay Botkin, Fred Carey, Betsy Johnson, Kathleen Fox, Lydia Kaeyer, Hannah Nelsbach, Don Moore, Mimo Riley Larry Murphy, Jen Derbyshire, Bob Conrad and Baxter Smith.

All artwork for the auction is displayed at the library. Bidding is underway and continues until 2 p.m. July 15.

The festivities kick off the evening before with an all-ages community dance Friday, July 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Town Hall. DJ Dan Miller will provides the tunes.
