On Saturday, July 15, The Diaper Fund presents "Stuff-a-Subie" Day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Key Bank parking lot.

Nearly one in three families struggle to afford enough diapers, which can lead to serious health problems for both babies and parents. The Diaper Fund provides families with the support needed.

The Diaper Fund is looking to stuff a Subaru Outback with various sized diapers, but the most needed sizes are 3,4,5, and 6.

In addition, there will be face painting, refreshments, kid-friendly activities and a prize for the largest donation. All donations go directly to babies in diaper need.

For more information, contact Rachel Smolenski at 230-8459 or rachel@arttherapymlk.com.

The following day, July 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a yard sale will be held at 16 East Pond Road in Nobleboro to benefit The Diaper Fund. Those wishing to drop off donated items for this yard sale may do so between 2 and 6 p.m. on July 15 at the same address. Diaper donations will also be accepted during the sale.
