Midcoast poet Dave Morrison has released his 12th collection of poetry, “Psalms” (JukeBooks 2017). Equal parts poems, memoir and Zen fortune cookies, “Psalms” is 100 short poems, “arranged like beads on a string,” said Morrison.
Morrison is the author of “Fail,” “Clubland” (poems about rock ‘n’ roll bars in verse), “Shake Hands With Your Heart” and “Cancer Poems,” among other collections. His work has been featured in literary magazines and anthologies; and read on radio’s “Writers Almanac” and “Take Heart.”
“Psalms is available at independent books stores including Sherman’s (Portland, Camden, Bar Harbor, Damariscotta, Freeport, Boothbay Harbor), Owl & Turtle (Camden), Bella Books (Belfast), Gulf of Maine Books (Brunswick), Bookstacks (Bucksport) and more.
