The Old German Church, Route 32S (Bremen Road), will be open for visitors weekdays beginning Monday, July 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. The church was moved from the east side of the Medomak River to its present site in the winter of 1795 and is a registered national landmark. The German Protestant Society was organized in 1800, and its trustees still manage the church today. Members of the Waldoboro Woman’s Club serve as hostesses each year during July and August. The Annual Church Service will be held Sunday, Aug. 6, at 3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the service, and visits to the church are free.
