The nonprofit Medomak Arts, located at 13 Friendship St. in the village, will be hopping during the Waldoboro Day weekend.

On Friday, June 16, Medomak Arts holds another Community Night featuring food, refreshments and live music, from 6 to 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to gather with fellow community members for a festive evening.

On Sunday, June 18, the monthly Jazz do Mundo & Friends afternoon of live jazz will run from 2 to 4:30 p.m. A $5 donation is requested for each event. Snacks and drinks will be available.

Still upcoming this month are: a screening of the documentary "Growing Local” Tuesday, June 27, at 7 p.m., preceded at 6:30 p.m. by social time ($5 donation; drinks and refreshments available); and a Paint Night with Libbie Winslow Thursday, June 29, at 6:30 p.m. ($20 donation, all materials included; drinks and refreshments available). For more information, visit medomakarts.org.
