On Saturday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m., the Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point South will present a concert by the Roaring Forties, a Sydney, Australia, based folk group.

The group comprises strong individual singers, and the vigor and interplay of their combined voices makes a distinctive and powerful sound. They sing unaccompanied traditional songs and chanteys composed with a respect for tradition.

Admission is by a $15 suggested donation. Sharp’s Point South and the Sail, Power and Steam Museum are at 75 Mechanic St. For more information on the museum and its programs, call 701-7627 or 596-0200; email sailpowersteammuseum@gmail.com; or visit sailpowersteammuseum.org.
