Maine singer/songwriter Lauren Crosby, a rising folkie/bluesy songstress who grew up in Georgetown, will perform Sunday, June 18, beginning 2 p.m. on the lawn of Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery, 347 Carroll Road.

The lobsterman’s daughter’s distinctive vocals capture the rawness of the oceanic setting, and her songwriting exemplifies the beauty and hardships of rural living. Blending blues, folk and jazz genres, Crosby has performed all over the nation, incorporating southern and southwestern flavors into her craft along the way. She will be singing songs from her new album, “Back River Beauties.”

Concertgoers are invited to bring their own lawn seating. Crosby’s performance is part of a Father’s Day-long celebration at both Sweetgrass Farm; and Savage Oakes Vineyard and Winery, five miles away at 175 Barrett Hill Road.
