Atlantic Motor Car on Route 1 is showcasing the work of two Maine artists, including DiTa Ondek of Friendship, through June. The public is invited to stop in during business hours, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A self described creative initiator, Ondek has a varied professional expression as a web developer, painter and poet. In her art, she she uses various media including watercolor and acrylic paints; and Polaroid and digital photography. For more information about her work, visit dita.org.

The current exhibit at AMC features a series of Ondek’s acrylic paintings of vintage and abandoned vehicles; and watercolors by Irene Rothe of Auburn. AMC offers art space for artists working in watercolor, print, acrylic, mixed media and/or print media. No commission or hanging fee is charged; the space is donated as a service and enrichment to the local art community and the community at large.
