Maya Kalloch of St. George will give a numerology workshop at the Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St., June 14, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Join in the fun and learn the basics of the ancient science of numerology, and the energies behind numbers and letters. The presentation will examine the simplified numerical and alphabetical code based upon the theories established by Pythagoras, the famous Greek mathematician and mystic of 550 B.C, who said, "The world is built upon the power of numbers."

In this workshop, each participant will complete their own personal Name Diagram based on their name and birthdate, revealing one's character, past, present and future.

According to Wikipedia, "Numerology is any belief in the divine, mystical relationship between a number and one or more coinciding events. It is also the study of the numerical value of the letters in words, names and ideas. It is often associated with the paranormal, alongside astrology and similar divinatory arts."
