The Friends of Music Concert Series, an outreach program of the First Congregational Church of Camden, will present an afternoon of choral ensemble music and vocal soloists Sunday, June 4, at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church, 55 Elm St./Route 1.

VoXX: Voice of Twenty, a highly regarded a cappella vocal ensemble based in Midcoast Maine, will be performing selections from its upcoming Where There is Love summer concert series. The repertoire is described as music that celebrates the deepest of human emotions through the ages.

The concert also will feature the music of two local vocal soloists: soprano Anne Brady of Camden, who is a music student at Ithaca College; and tenor Tom Gray of Rockport.

There will be a reception following the concert, with an opportunity to talk with the performers. As always, each Friends of Music concert is free and open to the public, although donations to sustain the program will be cheerfully accepted at the door. For more information, call the church at 236-4821.
