and the town are jointly holding a candidates’ night for the seven candidates who are seeking election to the Rockport Select Board at the June 13 polls, the day before annual town meeting.

The forum will be held at the Rockport Opera House downstairs meeting room, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and will be streamed live at

If you can’t make it to the forum but want to submit a question, call or text Lynda Clancy, at 706-6657, to get it posed to the candidates.

The forum format will allow for each candidate to deliver an opening statement, and then each will have two minutes to respond to questions from the floor. If warranted, there will be time or follow-up questions. Candidates will also each be allowed two minutes for closing statements.
