The annual CHRHS Fine Arts Night will be held Thursday, June 1, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in multiple locations of Camden Hills Regional High School, off Route 90. The annual CHRHS Film Festival will begin at 8 p.m. in the Strom Auditorium, featuring work from Digital Filmmaking and TV Studio classes.

Fine Arts Night student performances will include vocal and instrumental ensembles and soloists performing in the Strom Auditorium, Wave Café and main lobby. Students personalize this event by arranging their own ensembles and performing music of their choice, as well as performing in school groups such as the dynamic CHRHS Jazz Band.

A wide range of student artwork by Camden Hills students will be on display including photography, jewelry, painting, 3-D design and clay. Art displays will be on the Strom stage, in hallways, the Black Box and in the Wave Café; and Applied Academics classes will have projects on display in the Wave Café.

Fine Arts Night is a celebration of student achievement in the arts and applied academics at the high school, and the entire community is welcome to attend. There is no admission fee. For more information, contact Visual and Performing Arts Department Chairwoman Nancy Rowe at
