“Spring Exhibition 2017” is open at Asymmetrick Arts and Black Hole, 405 and 403 Main St. This gallery collaborative is the third such open juried exhibition.

Work was chosen work from more than 250 submissions, from more than 60 artists, by a jury of Joshua Cardoso (artist and director of Win Wilder Hall Gallery, Rockland), Kate Hadley Toftness (director of the Chicago Archives + Artists Project, Chicago, Ill.) and Yvette Torres (Yvette Torres Fine Art, Rockland).

Artists with work in this year’s show are Katharine Cartwright, Heather Lyon, Gretchen Irby, Jeanette Phillipps, Deborah Jellison, Micahel Fillyaw, Jim Tolles, Jim Nyce, Stephen V. Smith, Conny Hatch, Sally Brophy, Lesia Sochor, Janake Howard, Marc Leavitt, Jody Dube, Keith Plummer, Ben Potter, James Chute, Doreen Nardone, Tom Jessen, Nathaniel Meyer, Matt Meyer, Matthew McGinley, Heidi Locke, Linda E. Mahoney, Maury Colton, Kitty Winslow, Jenn Messier, Angela Anderson, Celeste June Henriquez, Richard Iammarino, Jeffrey Wolff, Dean Adolphsen, Matt Maniscalco, Isaac Jaegerman, Otty Merrill and Mwanza Kaluta.

Gallery hours for the duration of the show are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and other times by appointment. The work also can also be seen online at blackholegallery.com.
