May movie screenings continue at Vose Library, 392 Common Road. The screenings are free and open to the public; donations to cover the licensing fee are welcomed.

Recent Release Movie “Loving” (2016, UK, USA) will be screened Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. The dramatized story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple in Virginia who married in 1958 at a time when interracial marriage was not only considered to be immoral, but also was illegal. The two are arrested, and they decide to take their case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. The film is rated PG-13.

Still to come this month is a Teatime Movie, “Moonstruck” (1987, USA), Monday, May 22, at 1 p.m. The library is closed on Memorial Day. For more information, call 785-4733 or visit voselibrary.org.
