The United Christian Church will sponsor the Holiday Antique and Gift Show on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Community Building, located next to the church at 18 Searsmont Road, Route 173, in Lincolnville Center.

The show will feature local antique dealers, crafters, and farmers. There will be a wide selection of unique and affordable products including rustic chainsaw art, vintage buttons, maple syrup and apple butter, antique tools, and Caleb Edwards' hand drawn bird cards and calendars. Several new products will be on sale including Ann Woodruff's attractive hand knit wool hats for all ages and Diana Wright's "Grateful Soaps." The church will offer a variety of gift items featuring Barbara Bentley's creative transformation of recycled birdseed and grain bags into practical yet stylish shoulder bags.

Since the recently renovated Community Building now has a kitchen, the length of the show has been extended to 3 p.m. and church members will be offering breakfast and luncheon items for sale. The menu includes muffins, coffee cake, breakfast casserole, beans and franks, quiche, and soup. Homemade cookies and jams will also be sold.

Event organizers have been pleased with comments from shoppers about the welcoming atmosphere and the wonderful assortment of products.

All are welcome. There is no admission fee. The Community Building is handicapped accessible with ample parking. For further information, call 785-3521.
