Chris Gray, a piper, percussionist and painter from Mount Desert Island, will share his passion for both traditional and original music Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at Sweet Tree Arts, 4 Church St. at Hope Corner.

The evening will feature whistles and the Irish and Scottish pipes and is sure to be a delight. Joining Gray will be Daryne Rockett on harp, vocals and podorhythmie; GF Morgan on guitar and vocals, Jim Gray on guitar and percussion; and Heather MacLeod on whistle, vocals and Quebecois podorhythmie. Gray and friends will perform original and traditional Celtic music with selections from his newest CD, “Fuist.”

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10. Proceeds will benefit Sweet Tree arts programming and visiting musicians.
